CHALDEAN SYRIAN HSS IS A FAMOUS AIDED SCHOOL IN THRISSUR DISTRICT.IT IS A MIXED SCHOOL CONSISTING OF LP, UP, HS AND HSS SECTION. ABOUT 2000 STUDENTS ARE STUDYING HERE.THE SCHOOL HAS A WELL EQUIPPED SMART CLASSROOM, COMPUTER LAB, LIBRARY WITH READING ROOM AND SCIENCE LABORATORY.THE SCHOOL HAS A GOOD SUPPORTIVE N.C.C AND GUIDES UNIT .IT IS SITUATED IN THRISSUR TOWN NEAR BIG CHURCH & LATIN CHURCH.
About 1600 students are studying in our school. A new building for Plus Two is being constructed in our school compound. We have about 60 staff are doing their duties perfectly. We conducted "Pravesanolsavam" on the opening day ie. june fourth to welcome the new comers. The inauguration of the clubs was conducted on 13-7-2012 in the school Hall. Sr.Rani,Principal of St.Mary's college,Thrissur inaugurated the function. Different programmes of different clubs,Animation Film,etc are the entertainments.2012 is to be celebrated as Mathematical Year and so the importants of that was projected in the programm. A rally of the members of mathematics club was conducted. ' Seed' Programme of Matrubumi Newspaper was also conducted.
We published digital weekly newspaper about our school by each class starting with Std 10 A.
On 13-8-2012,'Pookkala mathsaram' was very fascinating. Std 10 B scored the first prize and 10 A scored second
A proper school education means that a student will have a good background and a good history when he or she grows up. Education that is gained in school is vital for the well- being of a student.
